What is Hovea?
Hovea is a quoting app for Australian tradies. You describe a job by typing or talking, and Hovea drafts the scope, line items and pricing from your own price book — so you can send a professional quote from your phone in minutes.
Does Hovea handle GST correctly?
Yes. Every quote shows the subtotal, GST (10%) and total. If you're not registered for GST, Hovea leaves off the GST line and notes that you're not registered, in line with ATO rules.
Which trades is Hovea for?
Hovea suits Australian tradies of all kinds — electricians, plumbers, builders, carpenters, painters, roofers, landscapers and more. It drafts from your own price book, so it fits whatever you charge for.
Does Hovea handle invoicing too?
Yes. Once a quote's accepted, turn it into a proper invoice with one tap — the line items carry straight over from the quote, plus your payment details (BSB and account, or PayID). It's a Tax Invoice if you're GST-registered, a plain Invoice if you're not — a separate document from the quote, the way the ATO expects.
Is Hovea free to use?
